State-Of-The-Art Mudlogging Equipment

Products

The Geospect line of products:

Geospect IR

Geospect ML18-IR. State-of-the-art mudlogging gas detector with chromatograph.

Geospect ML18-IR

The Geospect ML18-IR is our top of the line, and most user friendly mud logging system. It detects from 0 to 100% gas in air without saturating. This is because of our state-of-the-art infrared gas detection technology. A chromatograph and/or CO2 detector can be added to make it a complete mud logging system. The ML-18IR comes with a built-in sample pump and flow panel. Other mudlogging instrument and equipment manufacturers charge extra for these items.

Geospect Data Acquisition Interface

Geospect Data Acquisition Interface. Connect your existing equipment to Geospect mudlogging software.

Geospect Data Acquisition (DAQ) Interface

The Geospect Data Acquisition interface (DAQ interface) allows the user to connect most mudlogging gas detectors, regardless of the manufacturer, to Geospect software. It also allows pulse inputs from a depth sensor, on/off bottom switch, and pump stroke counters. Geospect software is WITS Level 0 compatible. That means that it can communicate with other computers around the wellsite. Once the com ports are configured, the mudlogging technician, or well site geologist, can send gas to EDR systems with a click of a mouse. By EDR systems, we mean Pason, Totco, Epoch, or any other system that uses the WITS protocol as a means of communication. The mudlogger can also receive depth, rop, pump strokes, etc from the EDR.

Dual Sensor Gas Analyzer. Find heavies as they occur without a chromatograph.

Dual Sensor Gas Analyzer

The biggest advancement in mudlogging / surface logging technology since computerization. The patent pending Geospect Dual Sensor Gas Analyzer detects the presents of heavy hydrocarbons coming out of the gas stream in real time without a chromatograph. This technology is a must have on your mudlogging unit. It can be retrofitted into your existing Geospect System (ML-08 and above).
